I’m Tina, long-time writer/panicker.
I spent most of my career writing the funny cards for Hallmark. Here I am talking about it:
I loved my job, but it was hard. I fruck out a lot. But I also learned a ton about how to gain confidence and keep writing, day after day after day.
I started this newsletter after the zillionth time someone told me, “I wish I could write.” It kills me to think how many people are out there, too scared to give us their stories. I decided to start sharing all the low-pressure tricks I use in hopes that they might help others find the ease to get writing.
I’ve had a blast talking about How to Write More Funnier, sharing My Top Ten Shows, and interviewing creative geniuses like Bill and Camry.
But wouldn’t you know it? I got so busy writing about writing that I forgot to write. You know?
I’m going to pause on sharing tricks for a bit in order to practice what I preach: it’s time to get my own stories down on paper. So far, I’ve walked through fire and killed things with rocks. Am I writing this from prison, you ask? Only time will tell!
For now, all stories are free. In time, I hope to share some more vulnerable stuff, but may do so only at a paid level. If you’d like to support my work at any point, you can do so here. Do I need bail money, you ask? See previous paragraph!
I appreciate you being here and love hearing all the stories you have to share. Want to follow along? Have I got a button for you:
